I had the privilege of being a member of Mesa Mobile Thinking team, which played a crucial role in the development of the app. Our client was Vibra Energia, a prominent player in the Brazilian fuel distribution and investment market.

My Role
As the Project Coordinator, I confidently led the team in maintaining and continuously improving the app. I worked towards removing any roadblocks for our team and ensured the effective implementation of Scrum practices and principles, fostering a culture of agility and adaptability within the team.
As time went on, I started to lead the relationship with the client. This involved not only managing the product and setting its priorities but also understanding and addressing the unique needs and objectives of each stakeholder group. By doing so, I facilitated effective collaboration and alignment across different departments.
Furthermore, I managed and motivated the team to maximize productivity and achieve our goals. My role as the Project Coordinator extended beyond the technical aspects of the app. I played a pivotal role in building a strong relationship with clients and stakeholders, managing priorities effectively, and cultivating a high-performing and collaborative team.

The Team
We were around 30 people who were expertly divided into various roles including Product Managers, Product Designers, Tech Leads, Frontend developers, Backend developers, and QAs. Alongside Mesa's team, we maintained regular and effective communication with the client's team and stakeholders who were responsible for another section of the application.
I took great pleasure in providing assistance and observing the team's growth.

Main challenge
When I joined the project, it became clear that we needed to expand our team in order to optimize our product.
As our team was starting to grow, we encountered the dual challenge of maintaining our existing functionalities while also introducing innovative ideas to enhance the user experience. In parallel, we needed to strengthen our work culture and develop an onboarding process that would welcome new members without disrupting our productivity.
To address this, we organized our team into specialized squads, each focused on a specific aspect of the application. All tasks were managed using JIRA, and we adhered to a robust process to transform ideas into tangible results.

It was a long journey from creating the app from scratch until it became a 4.8 star app on the Apple Store. The application is currently available to all users.
