I worked as a Product Owner at F1RST Technology, bank's technology center. With its global headquarters in Spain, Santander is the largest bank in the euro zone and one of the largest in the world. In Brazil, it is the third largest private bank in the National Financial System.

My Role
My role was to assist the product leader, ensuring flawless integration with both internal and external systems. I expertly guided the squad in the creation of user stories, defining acceptance criteria (DoD, DoR), and establishing realistic deadlines. Furthermore, I confidently prioritized tasks for the team, crafted a strategic roadmap, and conducted release's testing.

The Team
I had the opportunity to work with a highly skilled and diverse team that included a Scrum Master, Product Owners, Product Managers, Project Managers, Product Designers, Frontend and Backend Developers, Tech Leads, and QAs. This team included skilled professionals from Santander and MJV, who brought a lot of knowledge and experience.
Main Challenge
Our goal was to effectively manage relationship with stakeholders and team members. This involved working with individuals who held various important roles within the project, each with their own unique influence on decision-making. It was crucial for us to understand how to navigate conflicts of interest during the process. Furthermore, we had to navigate a complex financial system that demanded our respect but also presented obstacles that we had to overcome.
We were able to achieve that by improving our communication on daily bases, using data as main argument to solve conflicts on decision making.

To ensure smooth integration and meet the needs of all system components, we conducted daily Technical Refinement meetings. These meetings covered user stories and requirements for each functionality of the platform before we began coding. The meetings included key project roles such as product owners, managers, tech leads, and architects. During the refinement process, any potential issues with integrations were discussed and documented in Confluence.
This was a confidential project. For that reason, I can't display any material.
